Knit and Crochet Alongs
We would like to offer a space for groups to work on projects together. Here you will find KAL's/CAL's that we are hosting. Please feel free to join these groups when you can; we look forward to seeing how everyone's projects turn out! If you have an idea for a Knit or Crochet Along you would like share, we always welcome suggestions. Please drop by the store or contacting us to let us know what you have in mind.
Speckle & Pop! Westknits Mystery Shawl KAL 2017

Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Cost: Pattern $7, Group Free
Join us Saturday afternoons as we attempt to complete Stephen West's newest Mystery KAL. Meghan is going to do this KAL, and hopes you will join her. The group itself is free. Stephen West strongly believes that friends should gather together and knit. However, you must purchase the pattern directly from his Ravelry store. It is available here.
You may purchase your yarns at Chix with Stix, select from your stash, or even commit a little yarn adultery. If you and a friend want to share colors we will be happy to wind and measure skeins for you. Each clue will be released the Friday before the group will meet. During our meeting time, we will gather together and discuss any knitting questions that may come up and share our progress. It is encouraged to start the Friday before we meet, so you know if you have any questions.
You will need to know knitting basics for this knit along. Any techniques that may come up that you might not know will be discussed in the group. If none of us know, then we will learn together. This group will be very unstructured. It is an opportunity to enjoy one another's company and embark on a color adventure together. Contact us if you are interested.
