Some new accessories to aid the knitter or crocheter will be arriving soon. The first to arrive will be the Wrist Rulers. The Wrist Ruler is a leather wristband with engraved inch and centimeter measurements. If you find yourself always needing to measure things when you're on the go, this is the perfect product for you!
The other new item is called the Yarnit. This is a perfect item to hold that ball of yarn in place while you knit/crochet anywhere. Some new items have arrived at the store and have been added to our shelves. We have ring counters by Knitters Pride which are fantastic accessories for keeping count of your stitches/rows. We have 3 sizes to choose from, 8, 9 or 10.
We have the new Smart Stix Interchangeable Deluxe Set by Knitters Pride. The needles are marked with measurements to aid the knitter in measuring their work. A great addition for any knitters needle sets. And lastly we have a new yarn in by Sirdar. The yarn is called Jewelspun and is an acrylic yarn that feels fantastic and self stripes. This yarn is a DK/Sport weight with 325 yards, made of luxurious 25% linen, 25% merino wool, and 50% silk! What's not to love?
We also have an order coming of freshly dyed yarns from Hedgehog Fibers. They will go quickly, so keep your eyes out. DMC Lovey Tops have arrived. They make an adorable cuddly blanket that is easily attached to a pacifier. They would make a perfect gift for someone expecting. Knitters Pride has a new set of needles called SmartStix. We have a couple of sets on order. If these well received we may add the interchangeable tips to our stock. What makes these so fabulous is they are marked at 1" intervals on both the needles and the cords. SmartStix helps knitters measure their creations on the go (while removing the need to use a tape measurer). You can also check your gauge and even test yarn weights. They made from a high quality & lightweight aluminium that is easy on the hands. We now have Chix Coffee Mugs, handmade by our own Pat Jordan! The first order has already sold out, but we should have more in stock soon. These mugs are perfect for your morning coffee or tea. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe.
We recently received a shipment of some new full skeins of Wonderland sock/fingering weight yarns. We also got some more colors and variegated of their lovely mini skeins. Come see the new stock soon, before it disappears down the rabbit hole. We are excited about our recent shipment of Opal sock yarn in the History collection. The picture of above is of the color ways in this collection, of which we have most in stock. We also are waiting on some of their cotton sock yarns that we hope will arrive in the next month or so. To go along with your favorite sock yarns, we now offer Regia Wool Reinforcement Thread.This is great to help reinforce the heel and toe of your socks so they will get longer wear. Stop in to stock up on your Opal. It won't last long.

Emma's Yarn trunk show has arrived! It will remain at the shop thru Saturday. After Saturday, it will be packed up and sent it back for her next trunk show somewhere else. Please stop in this week and take advantage of this wonderful yarn. It feels luscious and will knit up wonderful garments. We already know several shawls and sweaters that are going to be made from this beautiful yarn. Hazel even has a couple picked out for herself!
