Linda's Needle Felted Bunny class finished their final touches this past Saturday. Each one has such a unique personality and everyone did a fantastic job. If you are interested in learning to needle felt, pay attention to our newsletter for future workshops. Linda is an amazing teacher and always comes up with the cutest critters to create.
Needle Felted Bunny Class
Our bunny needle felting class is off to a good start. Next week they will complete their bunnies and we'll get pictures of the finished ones for you. Each one will have it's own personality. This is a fun class and there's no knitting required so watch for the next one and learn how.
June's Featured Customer - Mabel B.
For the next few months we will be featuring some of our regular patrons projects that they have completed with yarn from our store in our display window. Our first featured customer is Mabel B. Make sure to pop by and see some of the beautiful things she has made.
Spartanburg Knitting Guild
This past Saturday was the Western North Carolina Yarn Crawl. We are not officially a part of it, but the Spartanburg Knitting Guild heard how close we were and decided to pay us a visit as they participated in the crawl. Unfortunately, the bus they rented broke down before all 20+ were able to make it to us. However, six very dedicated ladies joined us and it was a pleasure to have them.
Bonnie's Intermediate Crochet Class
Bonnie's class finished up recently. The ladies all learned some new skills to add to their crochet repertoire. We can't wait to see everyone's once they are finished.
Whitney's Short Row Workshop
Whitney Harmon is a yarn rep for Knitting Fever and Euro yarns and she was kind enough to come and lead a Short Row workshop in the store. She showed everyone a variety of short row techniques. The ladies practiced their new skills making cup cozies and we hope to have some pictures of the finished cozies soon.
Beginning Crochet Class with Bonnie Bender
The Beginning Crochet class finished up this past Saturday and everyone made a beautiful and unique project. Great job ladies! Now it's time to sign up for Intermediate Crochet!
Bee Hive Hat Class with Betty Shell
Betty's Bee Hive Hat class ended this past Saturday. Some of the ladies finished their hats and others are very close. We hope to see the other finished hats so we can post those also.
Knit A Sweater Class with Jenny Hice
Jenny's Knit A Sweater Class is diligently knitting away. Their projects are all large and involve lots of knitting. Jenny will meet with them on an as-needed basis for help as they need it. The finished sweaters are going to be classics that will be worn for a long time. Each one is different which makes seeing their progress exciting. As they finish we will be sure to share photos on the website and Facebook page.
Intermediate Crochet Class with Bonnie Bender
Bonnie's Intermediate Crochet class is working on their projects and have one more class this Saturday. There are going to be some nice throws and shawls.
Needle Felting Class with Linda Pilkenton
Linda's Needle Felting class wrapped up their "Forest Persons" this past Saturday. They started with only wire and built up to the finished project. Everyone's "person" turned out truly unique, each with their own personalities. We'll try to offer this class again. Remember that Needle Felting requires no knitting or crocheting, and is a good time to just be creative. Great job everyone!

Beginning Knitting with Betty Shell
The Beginning Knitting class finished up on Saturday, January 29th. Everyone's fingerless gloves turned out great. There was even a very ambitious student who finished TWO pairs during the classes! We can't wait to see what all these new knitters will create in the future. Welcome to the Tribe!
