We are in the planning stages for our 2nd Annual Yarn Swap! 

Start looking though your stash of yarns, needles, books & UFO's and get them ready to trade/exchange with someone else's impeccable stash. Like our last Swap, we will serve Tea & Treats to enjoy while we are trading. You will come with your unwanted items and leave with a whole new stash; it will be a win, win!! We ask that the items you bring be yarn shop quality and in great condition. It has been over a year since our last swap, so if you don't know where to start or are feeling overwhelmed by your stash, refer to our Origination Challenge from last year, scroll down to week one and work your way up to week seven.

14th Annual Blackberry Festival

Everyone looks forward to Downtown Lenoir's yearly Blackberry Festival: the food, the fun,  the crafts and who could forget the Blackberry Cobbler! We once again will have a booth in front of the shop & hope to see you there! 

You are invited to sell your handmade goods at our booth at no cost to you. However, we do ask that you follow a few requirements:

• Only sell items in which you purchased either the pattern or yarn from Chix with Stix.
  
• Clearly price all of your items and have them delivered to the shop by closing Friday, July 10th. Doing so will insure your items will be available for sale all day long. 
  
• We ask that you help "man" the booth for a little while during the day. There will be a sign up sheet posted at the shop.
